The Finance Department is responsible for processing all financial data efficiently and cost-effectively. This oversight enables the city to monitor budgetary requirements, invest city funds wisely, and ensure compliance with all applicable city, state, and federal laws.

Each year, Financial Reports and Budgets are prepared, reviewed, and approved by the City Council. The Proposed Budget outlines the financial plan for the upcoming fiscal year, while the Final Budget incorporates any revisions, including carryovers from previous budgets and purchase orders.
