Mayor & Council

The City of Granby Mayor and Council work together for the citizens of our community. As leaders, they are committed to protecting the City of Granby's assets through the encouragement of residents and businesses to become integral participants in our community. The Mayor and Council are elected officials set up on a rotating 2 year schedule. Odd years elect the Mayor, one South ward council seat and one North ward council seat. Even years elect one South ward council seat and one North ward council seat. Exceptions to the rotation rule occur when a seat is vacated prior to term end, and an appointment is made to finish a term. That seat will automatically be up for election at the next municipal election.
